A few words about our history |
Our families have been dedicating their lives to steel for three generations: in fact the history of Euro Sider Scalo began half a century ago when, in 1955, Pietro Pastorelli started up the first forging activity in Berzo Inferiore, (Brescia district), in the heart of the Grigna Valley, better known as the Water Hammer Valley. It was exactly here, in the territory of Brescia full of mines, furnaces and people wholeheartedly dedicated to steel that the Pastorelli forging activity began. The first manufactures were spades, shovels and other small products made using the ore from the neighbouring Iron Mine. Later, in 1964, Ferriera Tre Valli, a rolling mill plant was started up. This time the founder was helped by his sons Innocenzo, Carlo, Ferruccio, Dino and Andrea who continued uninterruptedly to produce reinforced bars for the thirthy years to come.

| | In spite of the changed iron bar market conditions and the reorganization of the sector that lead to the closure of the plant, the activity in the steel field didn't stop: in 1977 COMS S.p.A., a steel structural works company was taken over and, as a spin off, Eurosidercalo S.p.A., was later founded with the purpose of trading in steel products.
In 2000 we obtained the ISO 9001 cerificate: a milestone and a starting point for an endless effort to improve the quality of our work. And here starts the most recent, but certainly not last, link of the chain that binds Eurosiderscalo S.p.A. to half a century of steel involvement. At present, Nicola Pastorelli and Mauro Abondio, who belong to the third generation have the task to lead Eurosiderscalo within a constantly changing market to fulfill the customers needs: products quality, high standard service and fast delivery. |
